Résumé

Au début du XX^e siècle, René Barthélémy, chirurgien-dentiste, s’est installé à Nancy. L’Institut dentaire de Nancy venait de naître. Très inspiré par l’art de son temps, il va meubler son cabinet avec un ensemble attribué à Gruber. Après avoir rappelé les principes de l’Art nouveau et de l’École de Nancy, nous traiterons de l’origine et des différentes expositions de cet ensemble.

Abstract

At the beginning of the 20^th century, René Barthélémy was a dental surgeon settled in Nancy. This was when the Dental Institute of Nancy was born. René Barthélémy was most inspired by the art of his time and would furnish his dental office with an ensemble allotted to Gruber. After having pointed out the principles of the Art nouveau and Nancy School, we will treat of the origin and various expositions of this ensemble.
