Résumé

Dans la recherche de l’équilibre du sourire, un examen attentif met souvent en évidence une malocclusion associée au problème esthétique. Le traitement orthodontique peut alors offrir des résultats intéressants, qu’il s’agisse d’un simple alignement, d’une modification de la forme d’arcade ou d’un protocole ortho-chirurgical.

Abstract

In the search of smile balance, a close examination often reveals that a malocclusion is associated to the aesthetic problem. Orthodontic treatment then can offer interesting results, consisting of a simple dental alignment, a change in the archform, or even a combination of orthodontics and surgery.
